This course explores the use of audio-visual recording techniques in ethnographic fieldwork, the documentary representation of social groups and social action in still photographs and ethnographic film, and the study of representations of cultural difference in mass media imagery. Prerequisites: One of AN100, AN110 or AN120 (or the former AN101).
